2023/2024 Parish Vitality Goals

Goal 1
By September 2024, St. Mary parish will add 12 additional liturgical ministers (such as choir members, lectors, eucharistic ministers, ushers, mass servers, gift bearers) to
increase parish participation.
Action Steps:

1. Ministry Fair
2. Names and numbers for people to train new liturgical ministers
3. Providing training
4. Look into replacement/moving/programming of instruments, if needed, to include more people (such as children and teens)

Goal 2
In 1 year, St. Mary parish will recognize each faith formation class at least one time per year to encourage student involvement, sense of belonging, and parish communication.
Action Steps:

1. Collecting pictures and/or description of milestones
2. Create contact people for submissions to social media, bulletin, and local newspaper
3.  Update social media (such as the Facebook page)
4. Update church bulletin/website
5. Possibly put in Guttenberg Press

Goal 3
By September 2024, St. Mary parish will form and publish a list of committees, including a contact person for each group as well as committee members, to increase parish
communication and encourage additional involvement.
Action Steps:

1. Form a list of committees
2. List current members of each committee
3. Create a contact person for each group and provide a phone number/email address
4. Publish in easy access places (such as the church website, social media, and bulletin)

Goal 4
Support the Missions
Action Steps:

1. Provide financial assistance to Jaderial Stabler, a FOCUS missionary serving students at the University of Platteville campus
2. Pray for Missions by including them in our prayers of the faithful at least once time per month
